What Is Saint Michael Clothing?

Two people built this brand. Yuta Hosokawa — the designer behind READYMADE — and Cali Thornhill DeWitt, a Los Angeles artist whose work has always pushed into uncomfortable territory. Hosokawa brought craft and construction knowledge. DeWitt brought visual instinct and a reference library that the streetwear world had not seen used this way before. Neither compromised.

What they created does not fit neatly anywhere. Too rooted in art for pure streetwear. Too grounded in street culture for fashion. Saint Michael sits in its own category and has never tried to leave it. Since 2020 the brand has been producing pieces that the industry keeps trying to imitate and cannot.
